Pat's First Swings

In these two swings viewed from face on, you can see some notable progress Pat has made already with his golf swing. The swing on the left is from a while back after we had been working together only a short time. The swing on the right is from September 2006. The swing on the right has a much quicker pace to the backswing, something we've been working on. Pat has a tendency to get a little mechanical with his swing and this causes him to take the club too slow on the way back and lose his athleticism and dynamicism in his swing. We also worked on his top of the swing position and you can see that has improved in the video on the right. He now gets his body behind the ball more and stores a little more energy in his right side during the backswing. We're working on keeping his head and body behind the ball through impact at the moment to help keep him from getting in front of the ball so much on his bad shots. His misses can go in both directions when he does this.
