The two day school at the RSGA is designed to give the golfer a well rounded experience and help foster growth in ALL areas of the golfer's game. It is designed in a way that allows the golfer to learn and then have time to practice as the instructor helps each one individually. It is also done in a way that allows maximum retention of what is learned rather than overloading the student with information that is quickly lost. Lastly, with 18 holes of golf each day after the learning session, the student gets the opportunity to put things into practice in the real world where it matters most. The instructor will play atleast 6 holes with each group (dependent on the number of students in each school) so that he/she can observe what happens under pressure situations and help coach the student how to manage their game on the course. Course strategy is also covered during each 18 hole playing session.

9 am - 12 pm - Full Swing Clinic |
9-9:30 am - The student is immersed in the full swing discussion and theory during the first 30 minutes where the swing and its concepts are explained detail. This is also a perfect time for Q&A before the sesions move to hitting balls. The instructor may demonstrate the swing and shots during this time.
9:30 am - 11:30 am - After the initial discussion, the students begin hitting balls while working on assigned drills designed to target their swing weaknesses and immediately improve their ball striking. The student has ample time to work on these drills while hitting balls and will get ample one on one time with the instructor. The instructor will go to each student in line and work with them while prescribing drills or swing feelings to work on. He/she will then come back during this 2 hour period to revisit the work being done and further assist and answer any questions the student may have.
11:30 am - 12 pm - The group reconvenes for a final Q&A session with the instructor and is able to have any questions answered that may have arisen during the practice session. The instructor will take time to answer these questions and demonstrate drills and shots to help illustrate the answers. |
