Always Be Turning - You hear it from me all the time, but what exactly does it mean and more importantly, what does it look like? In this video, I use a student from our Online Golf Lessons to illustrate what it looks like when the hips stop rotating through the shot and the flippiness that occurs as a result.

rotation of the hips in the golf swing

Note how powerfully the golfer on the left is rotating his hips through the ball, so much that the right butt cheek is becoming visible and the right arm hasn't had a chance to straighten yet. This keeps the arms connected to the body through impact for more control and gives the golfer a sense of "hitting" with the body rather than the arms.
